Michael J. Rawl, Principal — Earlier in his career, Michael worked as a journalist, advertising copy writer and corporate executive in the Washington, DC area. Before forming Horizon in 2001, he managed a series of family, corporate and community foundations, including the Intelligent Electronics Foundation, Sanford Foundation, Mid-Shore Community Foundation and Chester County Community Foundation. Rawl opened the southern Delaware office for the Delaware Community Foundation and serves as executive director of the Greater Lewes Foundation. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland.

Mark Chura, Senior Associate — During the last several years, Chura assisted Horizon clients with site acquisition for the Lewes Public Library; the complete renovation of the Lewes History Museum facility; new entrance roads, parking and event facilities for Fort Miles Historical Association and, currently, design and expansion of the Lewes Senior Activity Center. Mark is also working on site selection for the new Sussex Montessori School.

Patricia V. Rivera, Marketing & Public Relations — An award-winning journalist, Patricia has worked for the New York Times, Dallas Morning News and The News Journal. Patricia holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Tennessee. Her journalistic and public relations skills have been of significant value to a number of Horizon clients.

Jesse Hulse, Designer — Award-winning graphic designer Jesse Hulse has worked with Horizon for 12 years on a variety of assignments. Brand development is one of his many specialties. His high quality work helps differentiate and enhance the visibility and positioning of Horizon clients.

Ray Daminger, Designer —A creative designer for Horizon, possesses a strong passion for design and client satisfaction that fuels him to deliver innovative concepts from start to finish. Ray earned his bachelor's degree in Art/Graphic Design from Towson University and has been in the design industry for more than 20 years. He has worked with many coastal Delaware organizations and strives to not only design for them, but build long-lasting relationships. His specialties are logo design, business identity and branding, marketing materials and print advertising.

Terri Colegrove, Associate — Terri brings significant event planning experience to our clients. She is currently working on the Lewes Library, Sussex Academy and Southern Delaware Therapeutic Riding assignments.

Linda Palmer, Office Manager — When clients require hands-on support, Linda is there to assist with database development, printing, proofing, meeting coordination and timely mailings.

Jim Purcell  — Formerly the executive director of Communities in School, Jim assists with cultivation work for the Bayhealth Foundation and program support for the Sussex Montessori School.
